apparently when i was installing the filter and new cap in the dark... i didnt notice there were 2 o-rings on it... one was already on the cap... and put the new one from the filter on top of it... opps...

then i went to install my new toy...

IMG-20140817-01484_zpsc7bc04e3.jpg

for which part?? the mounting bracket?? all i did with that was took a sheet of 16ga steel.. traced out around the gauge pod leaving a little extra for the support tabs on the back.. and then welded some mounting tabs to it... wasnt anything fancy there...

ahh... figured this would be my gauge thread... since thats how it kinda started... the intake elbow gave me a place to plug the sensor into vs drilling and tapping the intake (didnt really like that idea.. always have a fear of metal shaving finding their way into the cylinders).. then the wiring.. thought id posted the pics of the gauge mounted.. but apparently forgot to.. reason its having to move is the back of the steering wheel keeps hitting it...

Was after it was mounted... its cocked sideways cuz the back of the steering wheel kept hitting the buttons... even with it sideways its hitting the face still so thats why im wanting to move it... 25psi of boost :D foot to the floor and coming off an on ramp.. that was fun... and yes that was the recall reading...

IMG-20140812-01468_zpsa8463c22.jpg

my new idea for gauge mounting... use your imagination for the 3rd row...

gaugeplan_zps4de4254e.jpg

the various gauges that will be going in.. still debating oil PSI or oil Temp.. heard both are best to know.. some say temp more than pressure... others say pressure over temp...
