94 f150 5.8 xlt 4x4. Newbe here. My truck runs strong but seems to shift ok 1-2 and 2-3 but 3-4 and 4-od almost seems like it's trying to cram all 3 shifts together in one shift. It sorta glides through the shifting, down shifts fine when you get on it. Checked codes with engine running and not running, nothing. However while driving I do get a intermittent check engine light. It seems it coincides with the 3-4 shift but sometimes it comes on when accelerating. Crazy I know. Light stays on 30 seconds or so then turns off. May not have nothing to do with shifting issue? Truck has 112000 miles on it. Fluid good not burnt good color. Oh yeah truck periodically goes in limp mode. I know a little about vehicle issues but not a lot. Help please!
