Over Heating prob

My 1994 F350 4x4 7.5 (gas),
Over heated on the fw.
The gadge was pined in the red.
I got right off fw and repaired.
A new Thermistat.
My question is; What damage from
getting the engin so hot should I look
for.

UH, ruined engine, cracked heads, warped heads, metal transfer from pistons to block, cracked block, warped block. Just a few possibilities.
