^^^I think 96 was the start of all things OBD II...
Thats when it was mandated, there are a few earlier models out there. Both of your 400's would be an easy dual fuel convert, if just looking to increase range and lower operating costs.

Since reading this thread, I really wouldn't mind toying with the idea on the Bronco (space permitting)...but your comments about the systems being finicky with carbs, and that I'd actually have to know what I was doing made me hesitate a tad...haha. But it's definitely interesting and something I plan on at least looking in to more.

Its not as tough as people made it. Once its dialed in correctly it pretty much stays tuned. The ounce regulator setting is critical, but really easy to do with a water manoneter.
