does any one kno how hard it is to change the oil pan in a f-350 thanks

Theres a couple different methods to do it. But the best one is to pull the motor, If I remember correctly it doesnt use a gasket, uses special grey rtv as a gasket. And to get the pan back in without disturbing the sealer is sometimes tricky.

Don't know the details but the '96 I'm driving had to have to dipstick resealed and the shop quoted 13hrs for the job.

Ditto on pull the engine... the pickup tube hangs way low so getting it out and not bending the snot out of the pan because of the sealant they use is tough. Perfect time to seal up the dipstick tube while its out
