Worked on the power steering today.....all I can say is that it had better be worth it.

I've worked on some awkward miserable setups in my time, this install ranks up there pretty good on the misery scale.

Worked on it today, rewired the harness that came on the PS unit...lost the friggin' dropper resistor for the code LED...grrrrrrr.
Have to order a different handlebar riser as the kit added 2'' on top of the 2'' that was added sometime ago when I did the handlebars....throttle cable is just too tight with the added height.
On the plus side, the end is in sight

Bracket to mount PS ECM to as the suggested spot of the winch contactor was surprisingly taken up by a winch contactor!

Fault LED had about 6'' of cabling on it...what the hell do they suggest a guy does with that?

Rewired and relocated...used the polyolefin that was supplied and then split loom over the individual wire

Splicing into the factory speed sensor....crimped, soldered and env. heat shrink

I don't think I have ever been "sig"ed before. Sometimes I can pull off deep.
