There is normally a metal tag on one of the pumpkin bolts that shows the axle ratio, IF the tag has not been removed. One of the numbers on the VIN tag might also have a code for axle ratio.

If there is a door tag, then the axle code is usually stamped on it. There is of course, always the jack up the rear end and count axle and tire revs method.
