Tips and Tricks

If we could get a mod to sticky this up top, everyone add their tips and tricks for anything Motorcycle or ATV.

I'll go first, I absolutly hate cleaning my bike. H-D black wrinkle finish on the engine an transmission is pretty good, but it is a pita to clean if you have ridden on gravel or dirt roads, in the rain, or even worse, any of the 3 combined. Nothing looks worse than the paint and chrome looking really good and the black looking dirty. S-100 works really well, as does H-D's product, but its really messy and pretty spendy. STP son of a gun foaming tire cleaner on a warm (not hot) engine makes it look like new. Don't be scared to get it on the chrome, it wipes right off. Plus 1 can will do the motor and tranny 3 or 4 times. Last time I bought some it was less than $4 a can.

When Dodge and GM build something that will compete with the F450, we'll talk.
