i wanted to pass on the very sad news, in case you haven't heard, that Polarbear, Ernie Knoellinger, passed away today.

You would be hard pressed to find a nicer man the Ernie. In a day and age when everyone wants to be someone else on the internet...He was always himself.

That man was Ford blue through and through. The world has truly lost a great man.

I was happy to know him and honored to call him a friend.

Thanks for delivering this news to me Aaron, feeling like I got gut punched. Ernie was always a standout source of knowledge, kindness, and honesty. Despite not being active here recently I still think about him every time I wash my truck because I changed my washing technique after he posted some of his personal tips. I didn't even question it, Ernie could do no wrong by me.

Rest in peace bud :(

I'm not on here posting much but I'm always reading new post and his post were usually very informative about something.

Rest in peace Ernie...
