It's a brand new radio. It has a fuse in-line (2A). I used crimp connectors to extend the wire, and yeah. I'm kind of glad it didn't work because I couldn't get the wire through the firewall other...

I just mounted a PC-68LTW, and a Lil Wil antenna on/in my 2010 F150. Trouble is, I ran the power and ground through the firewall directly to the battery but I've got no power. I'm not entirely sure...

I put down keep the panel, but if you were replacing it with the panel-less version that has the big F O R D across it (slightly recessed, body colour) I'd pick that option.

I was actually just reading about that. They tried to cut some time off of the procedure by removing the engine and pylon as a unit, instead of the correct way, by removing the engine from the pylon...

The DC-10 doesn't have the greatest track record, 30 hull-loss accidents from what I read on wikipedia. Oh, and that hangar isn't designed for that...

Oh yea, she runs. I didn't start it for over a year, put in a new battery and it fired right up. Not the greatest for it, but I forsee quite a bit of new things in it's future.
