85 f150 starts by itself

My 85 f150 4.9 Auto is trying to crank over when the key is inserted, not turned on. I replaced the ignition switch on column and starter solenoid on fender. Im stuck now any ideas?http://www.fordtruckfanatics.com/forum/images/smilies/2gunsfiring_v1.gif

Sounds like one of the cables might be grounding itself. Did this just start or did you replace the steering column?

Trace that single wire from the solenoid, and make sure it isn't shorting out on something or burned thru on something...

This problem just started
