I got my engine fired up for the first time last week. And noticed there was rust in the water.Is there anything I can use for a flush that won't hurt the ground or my dog?

I really don't have a good answer for that other than to read the bottles, most flushes will have some sort or chemicals in them to clean out the junk. You may just want to flush and backflush the system with water untill it's clear if your worried about that kind of thing.
