How many Excursion owners

I love the one I bought my wife. 3 months ago they wanted 32 k for it. I bought it a month ago for 21k. Fully loaded with dvd for the kids. 18 mpg @ 75-80 mph. What more could you ask for.

Nothing really. That sounds like a good deal on the one you just bought!

Things I like about the Excursion that I dislike about my Suburban:

Diesel engine available
solid front axle
lock out hubs
lift kits are strong (unlike IFS lifts for Chevy's)

How do you like the Bilstein's?

Love the Bilstein shocks.

They ride well, siffened the "feel" of the truck and when I thought my front ones went out, Bilstein corporate sent me two new ones.

I purchased from www.eshocks.com

When you buy 4 shocks, UPS shipping is free!!!

Best deal I could find and this dealer is a large volume Bilstein retailer.

What Up? Just found this forum, was about to click on FTE. Is this a Texas based forum?

See a couple people I know in the 6.0L section. '

Anyway, I have a X.

2004 6.0 PSD
6'' lift 35'' Tires
53k miles

Cannot say how much I love it, though I did modify my house so it would fit in my garage.

Do not drive it that much. ( Tank of gas will last a month or so ) When I need to go somewhere and the wife is home just hope in her burb. Normally just use it to tow my Bass boat to the lake, or to take myself to the airport.

I am going to try to keep it forever. If in 10 yrs I have to do a ground up rebuild, I will. If the engine blows up, I will get another one. It is even more cool now with everyone driving go carts!!

Take Care,

ECA

I am just hoping that is one of those clip on pieces. I am pretty sure its just an insert thing. I like original much better, too.

Taking a look at the other pictures, it appears to just be an add on to the original grill, thankfully.
