What you will see in these pictures is the fixture we use.
This fixture is designed to correct lifter bore alignment to the center line of the camshaft.

Then I used the finishing reamer and partially started a few lifter bores.
I did this to show the ridge and difference from the original bore.
#3 bore lifter bore was really close to reamer hardly touched it. I think #6 was almost as close also.
But you will see the remaining 6 lifter bores are off.

Here you will see #1 lifter bore off center and tipped based on the machining marks tapering off to the side. You will notice that #2 bore is off center, but seems pretty square up and down as compared to #1.
