my 51 f1 has original speedometer & cable/i have a 302 & aod trans how do i make this setup work? i have never done anything like this before i appreciate
all the help that i can get,thanks

I'm not sure where you're located, but chances are there's a shop nearby that can custom build a speedo cable for you, with the correct ends you need. I recall doing that years ago when I put a C4 in my 50 behind a 289. Simply tell them what you need and how long you want it and you're good to go. It's no more money than any off the shelf replacement you'd buy, and you know it's exactly what you need. You can look in the yellow pages or consult a parts store/machine shop in the area for a recommendation.
