Hi folks,
I have an '02 Sport Trac with a starting problem only after the truck is warmed up. The truck starts fine cold, but gives the dreaded click click when trying to restart after short trips.
I have checked the battery and connections, and I have replaced the starter. After the new starter, things were fine for a few days, I also put the battery on a charger for several hours. My alternator tested fine. When jumped, the truck starts right up.
Any suggestions? Thanks for looking.
