1966 Engine Mounts

Does anyone know if the frame mounts are the same between the 6 and 8 cylinder engines? I pulled my 6 cylinder out and droped the 8 in but want to be 100% sure before I finish this project up.

they are the same. they are in a different set of holes on the same crossmember and possibly on different sides. it has been many years since i did that swap. but the engine perches are the same.

Thanks for the info. You are correct they are in the front set of holes for the 6cyl and you have to move them back for the 8cyl. I left them in the 6 cylinder location do to the trans I was using if I moved the engine back the shifter would be into the seat to much, so I will be running a electric fan needless to say, and check headder and oil pan clearences.
