What size tire is about the same as a 33X12.50X16.5?I want to switch to 16's.Besides 33's what other tires ae about the same size?Like 285X75 X16 and so on.Im not saying the 285 are the same.Thanks Tony

There could be quite a few different metric conversions that get you 'about' the same size.

Here is a link to a tire comparison chart that I posted about a year ago. You can enter the original tire size and the upgraded tire size in either standard or metric sizes and see the difference.

The width comes into play here as well. 285/75 16 is just shy of 33, but the width will not be 12.5. the 285 stands for 285 mm, then the 75 indicates the sidewall height is 75% or the tread width.
