antenna whip

My brother has a 2010, we were out hunting today and a branch hit is antenna which whipped it into his windshield and cracked it. It looks like a stone chip. I'm not to sure how fast he was going nothing to crazy. Is there a aftermarket antenna that is short.

I know they do exist cuz I've seem some guys put them on these trucks, but I've got no idea where to get them. I've heard they give you very poor reception and honestly they look like poop, IMO.

, but you can find a replacement at your local auto parts store. They have those short rubber ones in different colors.

Is he using the radios while he's out huntin? I'd just take the antenna off and put it back on once ya hit the blacktop.
