1983 thunderbird will not start, any ideas?

Usually it starts and runs fine, this is an intermittent problem. Sometimes I drive it for a couple of weeks and it does fine. Then suddenly it will not start for a few days. A day or two later it will. Then the next day it won't. It has a duraspark three ignition system. The ignition module and the coil have been changed but it still will not start. It turns over just fine, the sparkplug is getting fire, just will not start. Have any suggestions on what to check next?
I have been told to check the crank sensor. If the bracket holding it has been bent or something, then why would it start periodically and then other times not?

Are the injectors firing when it doesn't start.
You may need to set up noid lights to check if the are firing when it doesn't start.
The crank sensor will cause these symptoms.

Wouldn't be a bit surprised if...

E43Z-12A297-A .. TPS Ignition Module-mounts on side of dizzy with torx head screws (Motorcraft DY-425) / Marked: E3EF-12A297-A1A, A2A and etc.

This little bast'rd was a POS from day one! Several years ago, Ford was forced by the NHTSA to recall FIVE MILLION VEHICLES to replace the terd.

Applications: Myriad 1983/97 FoMoCo vehicles.
