BRAKE/ANTILOCK lights

Hi,
Lately my brake and antilock rear brake dash lights stay illuminated. If I shut down the engine and re-start and then wait about 20 secs before putting into gear the lights remain off. I don't notice any difference in braking, the resevoir is at correct level, the brake pads and linings are good and rears are adjusted correctly. So what gives? Perhaps air in the lines?:(

My 87 F150 had been doing the same thing and Fellro advised me to check the RABS sensor which i have pulled out and cleaned - now no problem although mine was an intermittent fault and may return - after a lot of searching i found that there seem to be three main causes.

1 = bad connection or faulty float sensor in brake fluid housing
2 = air in brake lines through rabs control block
3 = bad connection or dirty sensor on diff mounted sensor

The rabs control computer could also be bad but i would have thought that would be a fault that is always present if the truck was running.

Cheers Mark
