302 part numbers

Throwing this one out there, trying to track down a vibration in the Capri, The engine that is currently in it isn't what was there when it was sold...

Need the flywheel numbers for the pre and post 85 302 and the same for the blocks and/or the balancer...

How about you get me the engineering casting number and Date casting numbers from the block located near the starter and post them

The 302 was first cast in 1968 so it would be a C8AE-6015- A or B


Then I'll try to figure out the rest.

so this is manual trans because you stated Flywheel and not flexplate ?

Yes it's a manual, I've been meaning to get the casting numbers off the block I just haven't had much time to get the car up in the air and jot them down. Just trying to get ahead in the ordeal by getting a rough idea of the block numbers and the flywheel numbers before I go tearing things apart.

However, I think I might have found the culprit, my harmonic balancer is spinning anything but true and although I've never actually dealt with an issue like this I'd surely think that might cause an issue...
