Ok folks, here's the project. Would love to hear any and all ideas.
1993 model getting her 302 pulled in favor of a 300 (more grunt down low don't ya know). 300 is from a complete 1992 F-150 donor so I have everything I need for that part of the project. The E4OD is also getting tossed (good riddance) in favor of an S5-42 (wide ratio) and the manual BW1356 t-case will stay put behind that.
My quandary at the moment is which clutch? I have been toying with the idea of getting a flywheel that will accept the 11" clutch. (NONE of the flywheels my brother and I have laying around are tapped for the 11" clutch). In addition, does anyone have a preferred clutch manufacturer? I've always had slush-boxes in my Broncos so I have little frame of reference here. I don't tow often but when I do its heavy. But I do like to play off the beaten path. (LS front and E-locker rear). Will end up with 4" of lift and 33's maybe 35's if I decide to swap axle gearings.
What say ye?
