A 7.3 would be nice, but all that weight on that poor 1/2 ton suspension up front. I'd go with a nice built torquey 300, np 435, a small lift and have a nice trail rig you can sleep in

This is true. I'd thrown my front end under it, but no more 4x4. :headbang:

I will agree with a 300, though!

Leveling kits also throw off camber.

I was sniffing around for a low mileage bronco with a 300 before I found my red truck. It's not like you're going to go racing in it, so why not put a sweet straight six in?
