I am new to building a engine. I bought a used edelbrack performer 289 to use with my 5.0- engine, it has three 3/8 pipe threaded holes in the top , what are they for

One in the front should be for coolant temp sensor. One in the back should be for vacuum port...At least that's how my manifold is on my 73 302. I don't think I have a 3rd one so I couldn't tell you what else might go there.
