Hi guys,I have a 86 F350 Crewcab.And I was thinking about taking the 4 speed out and but a C6 in its place.Will I run into any problems if I do the swap?Only problem I see would be the driveshaft.Am I missing anything that may be a problem?

I'd imagine it would need to be shortened...so bring it to a dshaft shop and they should be able to cut it down and reblance for under $100.

Get a shaft from an existing C6 truck, only really need the front shaft, the rest should be the same. You will need the output yoke anyway. I would leave the pedals there, just pull the master cylinder and make a cover plate. I did that on the 92 I converted. The spring will keep it held to the floor.
