Just giving the NC guys a little heads up about a gun/hunting shop called Lead Chunkers in Rockwell, NC. Went down there a couple times over the last couple of weeks and daggon are they cheap. The S&W 500 ammo I was buying at Bass Pro for $48.99 was $36.95 at Lead Chunkers and the .270's I usually buy were 13.99 instead of 17.99. Their hunting clothes/gear/boots/accessories/etc also seem to be about 10-20% cheaper than anything I've found as well. They also have a gun smith on hand from 10-2 every weekday that seems to be pretty cheap as well...I broke a firing plate on an old 1950's O/U I have and everywhere else quoted $250ish, this place quoted $100ish. So far I'm extremely happy with them. I think they opened up around Christmas time. Here's what they have for a web site to this point:
