how to get better fuel econmy and another ?

Well i have been wondring how to get better fuel econmoy out of my truck. It gets something like 21 miles per gallon if my math is rite but it should be getting more. Another thing is when i take off the eedle for the fuel gauge will drop and then go back up and then i will step on it and it will go down and then back up how can i make that stop and how can i get better fuel economy thanks.

How much more can you get? 21 seams like alot!

Do you have a cold air intake and a bigger exhaust or a bigger down pipe?

I get 20 mpg blending 80% wmo with 10% #2 diesel. I think that is great. I do wish I could get more though.

Yes i have a cold air intake and a bigger exsost its 5 inch to six, but as you guys most likely know that when the tube runs from the tirbo down the fire wall it is a flatened pipe well i pounded my fire wall out and put a full size pipe on there and then ran 6 inch form nthe five after that (thatas *** big as i could fit in there and as much as i could pound it out)
