I've been contemplating getting a new h/u to replace my Shaker 500 but I don't want to loose the function of my steering wheel controls.

Do any h/u manufacturers make it possible to retaing the steering wheel controls?

They put those Shaker 500's in the trucks Lee?...was it part of the navigation package?

Yeah most of the companies make the adapters so you can still use the steering wheel companies. Just go to bestbuy and talk to their install guys or something like that and they'll hook you up. Or call up crutchfield or something.

No I bought it off of a guy on French Turd Enthusiasts for $100 a year ago. I went from a single disc to the Shaker, which was a nice upgrade. Fit perect, plug and play. I've been eyeballin' some aftermarket setups lately though.

Thanks to the rest for the info:wavey: . I guess it wasn't as big of a problem as I thought.
