Problem with the lights

Hi Guys,This is on my dads truck.Will try to explain.When youturn the lights on you have to pull switch all the way out and push it back in alittle to get all the lights to come on.I have changed light switch twice and no change.Any one have a clue what to do?Thanks

Gotta be the switch!!!

The headlights pull a lot of current through them and with old wires it has more resistance!!!

You need this if you can't fix it with a Ford light switch:

Ok let me try to re explain it.When you pull the light switch all the way out the headlights come on.But the problem is the clearance light doesnt come on until you push the light switch in alittle.Even when you pull the switch to the first notch they dont come on.

Unless that's a normal function then it has got to be a problem with the switch!!!

The problem you are describing sounds like a switch malfunction as the only component other than wires and bulbs is the high/low beam switch!!!

Check the wiring behind the switch. Could have a knicked wire back there that's moving when you mess with the knob....
