is it worth the hassle? or is it mostly for high horsepower engines? been thinking about doing this. i really don't know if it's worth the hassle.

It's all about getting the electrode in the same position for each cylinder. The theory is that the electrode can change the flame front if in the way, so you keep them turned so as not to block the flame. For normal cars I doubt it makes that much difference. If it is that big a concern, then go to a 2 or 4 electrode Bosch plug...
